A Message From The Editor

There’s no shortage of ambition in the data centre world but sometimes ambition hits friction.

This week, we’re seeing how rising AI demand is outpacing infrastructure readiness, with power strains, emissions concerns, and policy gaps surfacing in markets from the UK to Europe and beyond.

At the same time, we’re also seeing real progress: green build plans in Scotland, new energy strategies in Frankfurt, and experts rethinking what decarbonisation really requires.

In a sector defined by acceleration, how do we make sure the foundations aren’t left behind?

All the best,

Rebecca Uffindell
