1. Proposal for 384MW data centre filed with North Lincolnshire Council

A preliminary environmental impact assessment screening request has been filed with North Lincolnshire Council to construct a 384MW data centre south of South Killingholme. The development will consist of a data centre of up to 309,000sqm.

 
 2. dataR begins construction of data centre in Relligen, Germany

The 2,500 sqm colocation data centre will offer around 600 IT infrastructure racks. The Rellingen data centre will utilise technology with a focus on ecologically responsible construction and operations.

The world's first bio-circular data centre is a ‘response to the strategic challenge of reusing the heat produced' by facilities. The project will replicate natural photosynthesis by using captured CO2 to cultivate algae, reusing it as biomass for circular energy sources.
